Description: P. Gossop moved the notion, seconded by C. R. Ashbee; W. Bayes, seconded by L. Walker, led the opposition. Post-interval, and introduced the subject, A. E. Taylor, F. E. Jackson, G. Bayes, R. Hallward, A. S. Hartrick and H. T. Smith spoke (AWG annual report, 1926, p. 6).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
