Description: G. L. Overton, Assistant Keeper of the Science Museum read a paper (illustrated by slides), followed by R. C. Anderson of the Society for Nautical Research. Rev. W. J. Wyon spoke 'with complete mastery and knowledge of the subject' and W. W. Scott-Montcrieff 'touched on the building of the Cutty Sark'. L. A. Turner read a paper and showed slides; E. Warren, H. T. Smith, G. E. Kruger and F. E. Jackson joined in the discussion (AWG annual report, 1922, p. 8).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
