Description: At ordinary meeting of the AWG. 'A paper by Mr. Thackeray Turner was read by Mr. Horsley' (AWG annual report, 1895, p. 6).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Candidates for election must be personally known to proposer and seconder, and be bona-fide workers in some art or craft' (Year's Art, 1894, pp. 102-3).
