Description: Given at Ordinary meeting of the AWG. Short papers read and 'There was a small exhibition of Pewter Ware contributed by the authorities at South Kensington Museum, The Pewterer's Company, etc.' Start time 8pm (AWG annual report, 1891, p. 6).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Members limited to 150. Candidates for election must be personally known to proposer and seconder, and be bona-fide workers in some art or craft' (Year's Art, 1890, p. 90).
