Description: Lecture by Simmonds or Simonds at off-meeting of the Art Worker's Guild; followed Sedding's paper, 'Things amiss with Art and Industry'. It seems that this paper was also given at a unspecified Liverpool AWG conference (AWG annual report, 1889, p. 4).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Members limited to 150. Candidates for election must be personally known to proposer and seconder, and be bona-fide workers in some art or craft' (Year's Art, 1890, p. 90).
