Description: Demonstration at ordinary meeting of the Art Worker's Guild; practical demonstration by Frith and Aumonier, 'who showed their methods of working, and exhibited some fine examples of wood carving'. 8pm start time (AWG annual report, 1888, p. 6).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Members limited to 150. Candidates for election must be personally known to proposer and seconder, and be bona-fide workers in some art or craft' (Year's Art, 1890, p. 90).
