Description: Lecture and demonstration at ordinary meeting of the Art Worker's Guild. Subject introduced by Webb, who gave a paper, then practical demonstration of methods of plaster decoration by Witcombe and Priestly. Followed by a small exhibition on the off-meeting of the 18 November 1887 (AWG annual report, 1887, p. 5).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Members limited to 150. Candidates for election must be personally known to proposer and seconder, and be bona-fide workers in some art or craft' (Year's Art, 1890, p. 90).
