Description: Over 1,500 different works exhibited including paintings, books, prints and sculpture. Approximately half of all works were paintings. About 60 works were exhibited in the sculpture section including works by both contemporary artists and earlier European artists.
Policy: The profits derived from the exhibition were to be used for the purposes of permanent establishment of the Royal Cambrian Academy in Cardiff.
