Wood carver
Born in Oystermouth, Glamorgan. Died at Salmon Arm, B.C., Canada. She exhibited a panel in an arts and crafts exhibitions at the Pharos Club, Henrietta Street between 17th-20th May 1904. Her work was noted in the 'London Studio Talk' of The Studio (Vol. 23, page 242).
Eileen was the daughter of a prominent Swansea solicitor and is mentioned in the Plantagenet Blood Roll. She was a keen swimmer, angler and camper, and, whilst visiting Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies in 1912, founded a camp by Lake Moraine, where the fishing was excellent but the facilities were poor. She exhibited the model for her camp at Olympia in 1914 'turning the thoughts of many an enterprising girl visitor in the direction of a camping holiday'. She was still camp manageress in 1929, by which time she was married and had taken a Canadian passport.
